Managing your hosting service

Updated Sep 15, 2026

Everything about a managed hosting service is available from Managed Hosting in your account. The list shows how many services are active, pending setup or suspended, and each service has its own page.

Your service page

Open a service to see its overview: the plan, primary domain, billing cycle, recurring amount, registration date and next due date. Active services also show the server, username and IP address of the hosting account.

When one-click sign-in is available for your plan, Log in to control panel takes you straight into the control panel without re-entering a password. Otherwise, sign in with the credentials from your welcome email. If you have lost them, open a ticket from the account that owns the service.

Renewals

Hosting renews on the billing cycle you chose. When a renewal invoice is due, the service page shows "A renewal invoice is awaiting payment" with a Pay invoice button. If you have a saved card with automatic renewal switched on, renewal invoices are charged to it on the due date. See Saved cards and automatic renewals.

If a service is suspended

Services can be suspended when a renewal invoice stays unpaid past its grace period. The service page shows a suspension notice with the reason. Pay the outstanding invoice and the service is reactivated automatically. If the notice gives a reason other than billing, reply to the related ticket or open a new one. See Overdue invoices and suspension.

Changing plans

To move to a larger or smaller plan, open a support ticket from the account that owns the service. Tell us the service, the plan you would like and anything specific your site needs. Our team confirms what the change involves and the pricing before anything is applied.

Requesting a cancellation

Active and pending services have a Cancellation card at the bottom of the page.

  1. Under When, choose At the end of the current billing period to keep the service until it would next renew, or Immediately.
  2. Add a short Reason. It helps us improve and confirm we are cancelling the right service.
  3. Choose Request cancellation.

The page then shows that a cancellation request is pending review, and our team processes it. Before cancelling, download any files, databases and emails you want to keep, because data may not be recoverable once a service is cancelled.
